If your looking for a GPS system that has it all, where all features work and everything is perfect then this isnt for you. Other than that, this mio model does the work, at least for me. No wrong turns yet, no problems with the sunlight as some people reported, affordable 4.3 inches device. I'll give it a 5 star except that it does not have bluetooth as advertised on amazon.com. I would highly suggest Amazon.com to fix the item description for it represents a false statement. Im disappointed it does not have bluetooth. Other than that, i think it is alright for the money.

The Mio C520 is my first standalone GPS. I've used others on laptops, cell phones, PDAs and the like, but this is the first dedicated unit I've tried. I was sorely tempted by the Garmin models, but figured that I really didn't need a more expensive unit for my relatively limited needs, knowing that I could return it to Amazon if it wasn't suitable.

I don't think I'll be returning the Mio C520. Physically, it's a very attractive unit, about 3 by 5 inches and perhaps a half-inch thick. It slips easily into a shirt pocket.

(Mio, by the way, does not provide any kind of case or protecetive sleeve. I would strongly urge you acquire a screen protector immediately and an inexpensive belt case.) This portability is a major plus because the 6 million item POI (Points Of Interest) library is truly blowaway caliber. I bought my Mio about 6 months ago. It's a great little gps overall. Minna no nihongo books. My only complaint is that it can take FOREVER to find a satellite signal. By forever, I mean, on a bad day, 3 to 5 minutes. On a good day, less than a minute.

I'm not sure what causes the delay - doesn't seem to be weather, terrain, or buildings. I love that there is no service to purchase but once you have the map, it's not going to get updated on its own.

Since San Antonio is growing at an unbelievable pace, I have had quite a few unknown addresses pop up on me but I'm a Realtor so I guess I'll probably have that problem more than average. As far as how user friendly it is - it's great. Very easy to program, and it's. This GPS is amazingly cool. It has just about everything you need off a GPS. Yes, there are some hacks that you can search and change this GPS into a more advanced electronic device, but this is not the place to discuss this.

My Knight Rider GPS arrived the other day (9/25), and I have to say it is everything I'd hoped for. From the way KITT's voice greets you on power up, to the LEDs flashing on the sides when it talks, just fits perfectly.

While the voice sounds a tad bit drier than the original KITT, given the actor (William Daniels) has aged 20 years, it's not surprising it isnt perfectly identical - still sounds like KITT though, no question. I like how the position on the map is indicated by a little graphical KITT, rather than your typical arrow or circle. Gives it that extra little awesomeness you'd want from a Knight Rider based GPS system. Everything else your average GPS has is part of this package, it even has some extra options like subscriptions to traffic cam alerts. My only complaint is that the map scrolling via. The Mio c230 is a lot of navigator for the money.
