Hello everyone, Recently I updated from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 through the free upgrade program. Teoriya veroyatnosti reshebnik chudesenko. Everything was fine until I tried turning on WiFi hotspot using mHotspot, it showed 'Driver error' notification. After a bit of googling I found that there is no Microsoft Virtual miniport driver on network adapters section. Hotspot was working fine in Windows 8.1 but even after updaing wifi drivers its still not working. I even have done a clean install of Windows 10 and installed windows 10 drivers, but no luck. Kindly look into the situation.

I hv the same issue with wifi. Open cmd(admin mode) and type netsh wlan show drivers look for: hosted network supported--if it says noit means ur driver doesnot support hot spot. But in the process when i uninstall the driver from device mananger for first time it wiped out the entire wifi option from my system and even after installing the driver again it was not detecting my wifi, so i had to restore my pc.so before this make sure make a restore point. It removed WiFi from my laptop. 4) I right clicked in Device Manager then clicked check for hardware change 5) Instantly that same driver which I uninstalled came back 6) I went to command prompt and typed netsh wlan show drivers and checked hosted network supported, it said YES!

Finally my WiFi hotspot is working now! Thanks a bunch!
